Michael woke us up at 4:30 am on Christmas morning! Needless to say our boy was VERY excited! We told him to crawl in bed with us but he just couldn't sleep so at 5:30 am Adam said OK, it's Christmas morning, let's get up!
She started singing, "I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" right away when she saw the microphone!
Watch out, he will arrest you, give you a ticket and send you to jail!
Tents from Uncle Philip and Aunt Julie. Ella LOVES her "castle" so much.
She slept in it the first night.

Ella LOVED using flour. She was covered head to toe with it and loved every second.

Opening Christmas Jammies!
Good Night! Sleep Tight!
Michael insisted that Santa would want Chocolate Milk and that we should leave several carrots so all the reindeer get one.
Gingerbread Cookie Baking
The cutest little bakers!
Oh no, we're all done!

This was a silver lining moment. We certainly wish Adam would not have had a health crisis. With him now being on the other side and doing SO WELL, he was able to get in on lots of special family Christmas fun. His boss told him to "enjoy the holidays, don't rush your recovery, see you in January."
He and the kids had a blast working on the Richards Family Gingerbread House.
Ella strategically picked out all the purple candies.
"My purple," she says about ANYTHING that is purple!
