Ella Grace Turns 2

TWO!!  My oh my, how can my baby girl be 2 years old already?  What an absolute joy our sweet girl is.  She has grown so much and has consistently been the light to all of our lives. God was so good to give us the beautiful gift of Ella Grace.!! She loves to laugh, play, sing, dance, play musical instruments, bath time, drawing, play dough, painting, going outside, look in the mirror, read books and watch movies (especially Frozen or Rio). She even likes to clean and put things away.  She'll say, "Put it back," all on her own initiative.  She is crazy about all things Minnie Mouse, Veggie Tales and Frozen. Ella also loves to GO...she gets very excited to go in the van. She is very much a fan of routine and does not like to get out of her routine, not one bit.  Her favorite foods are yogurt and cereal bars.  Hoping she gets out of this food rut soon and broadens her food horizons.  Just part of being 2!

Our BEAUTIFUL Birthday Girl!

Present time!

Finally, her own rain gear!  She doesn't have to use brother's anymore.  :)

Hmmm, what is it?

 Yippee!!  Her first tricycle!

Heading out on her first ride!

She soon discovered it was just as much fun to stash pecans in the back compartment.  She loves picking up pecans.

Continuing our new tradition of giving a special birthday book, Ella's selection for her birthday could not be more perfect..."Ella, the Elegant Elephant."  We have since found a DVD and both kiddos adore Ella the Elegant Elephant.

After present time we took her birthday shopping at the mall...where Ella Grace carried around her favorite purse and did not let go the whole time!  Love her!!

Our goal at the mall was to take Ella to Build-A-Bear for the first time, but she was not at all ready.  We'll try again in a few months when she can enjoy it.

After the mall it was on to Gina's (one of Ella's favorite restaurants) for her Birthday Dinner!

Oh yeah, fettuccine Alfredo, forget the fork, that takes too much time...my hands work faster!

Michael enjoyed a giant slice of pepperoni pizza.

Mmm, birthday ice cream dessert...she decided to use a spoon for that!

Now home to bed to get rest up for her party tomorrow!
