Father's Day Fun!

Love Love Love the Daddy that Adam is to Michael and Ella Grace.  We are so blessed by him. I am thankful that he is a wonderful provider and that he leads and loves our family well.  And most importantly he wants Michael and Ella Grace to know and love Jesus, can I get an Amen?! It was a joy to honor him today, but I hope he knows how much we love him EVERY DAY!

Adam's Father's Day weekend began on Saturday morning with a bacon, pancakes and berries breakfast.  Followed by the opening and setting up of Adam's new train.  Excitement all around I tell you.  And yes, that is actual smoke you see coming out...it is vanilla scented.  Uh hum, fancy.  Please excuse the train boxes.  Choo Choo, All Aboard!

After church on Sunday we came home and Adam opened his remaining gifts.  You will see the theme...very much a result of our Super Hero loving 3 almost 4 year old!

After naps we enjoyed a fun family Father's Day bike ride...complete with Father's Day balloons!

After our bike ride we let the kids go around the block in their go-mobiles.  Our little princess has it made I tell you.  She is living the life...reading a book while Daddy pushes.
Her Daddy wouldn't have it any other way.  ;)

And of course I am missing my Daddy.  I didn't have to buy old spice this year...didn't really mind that. I never liked the smell, but my Daddy sure did! This picture is of us at the happiest place on earth (Disney World).  I am so glad he is at the happiest place in the universe!  Happy Father's Day Daddy!

Ella Grace at 18 Months

Ella's 18 month stats:
Weight: 25 Lb 6 oz
Height:  32.5 inches
Head circumference: 46cm
Praising God everyday for our healthy baby girl.  I can't believe in 6 months she will be 2 years old!  I know for the rest of my life I will be saying, "I can't believe my baby girl is (insert every age Ella will ever be here)!"

Ella's new words:
Ready? Go!
Moo, Woof and Baa.  Not just Meow for animal sounds now.  Baa is her favorite.
Bubbles!
Save the Day! This is usually repeated after, "Naaaah Naaaah, BATMAN!"
Belly Button
Sings at the top of her lungs, "Let it Go, Let it Go!"
Cookie
Apple
Banana
Let's Go!
She has started saying, "Cheese," for the camera
LOOK!
Moon...she loves to find the moon

Little Miss Ella Grace has quite the temper.  When she does not get her way she will fling herself onto the floor and bang her head on the ground.  She then proceeds to cry harder because she hit her head.  Sometimes, when you tell her No, she will try to bite you.  Yep, not even 2 yet, can you imagine when the preteen hormones kick in?!  We are well equipped with James Dobson's book, The Strong Willed Child. :)
Thankfully she recovers quickly and has her happy face again...just look at it,  precious! xoxo

Ella's favorite foods are definitely CARBS, my girl can down some mac-n-cheese and spaghetti! She still very much enjoys sweet potatoes and guacamole.  She of course likes the not good for you foods too, especially cookies.   I have been making "breakfast" cookies that are healthy to pacify my girl's (and my boy's) affection for cookies.  I have to say they are pretty yummy!

Love watching her play.

Blesses my teacher heart over and over again to see her enjoying
books.  She has now started "reading" books to herself. My heart is smiling!

Bathtub fun courtesy of  Daddy...colored bath water and all!

Didn't you know there is more than one way to play Ella's piano?

Playing with her sister friend, Lydia.  Sweet girls!

She still loves to wear her hat!

Ella is absolutely SHOE CRAZY! She tries on every one's shoes in the house and walks around with pride. When I take her to try on shoes she wants to try on every pair.  Girl after my own heart! Love her!

Her hair is long enough for a ponytail!!! Yay!!!

Sum Sum Summertime!

Our summertime schedule...for days we are on the go and days we stay at home.
So far this is working out great!

Backyard Fun

And fun in the Forester's Backyard too!

First swim of the summer at The Turners!
(sorry, no pic of actual swimming since I had to be in the pool with them)

Homegrown tomatoes and Basil!

Riding the train at the zoo...Ella's first time!
Ella said, "Choo Choo" during the whole train ride, and she was quite serious about it too.

Our neighbor's sunflowers, beautiful! (Michael was very busy checking for cars)

This is my favorite view on our morning walks...however, this is how things played out when I took the picture:
Thinking to myself: Awww, my sweet babies...quick, take a picture!
Then 2 seconds later...They are poking each other in the eye and both crying. Yep, it has begun!

Much more summer fun to come!
