Summer Vacation 2014 - Part 3

Peaches, Peaches and More Peaches

One of the things we were most looking forward to on this trip were Georgia Peaches.  We got our first taste while at Philip and Julie's.  They took us to "The Peach Stand" where Adam bought lots of peaches that we enjoyed while in Hilton Head. Not to mention their fresh peach ice cream shakes...oh. my. word.
After we left Hilton Head on the way to Auburn,  we passed through Georgia peach country and made a stop at Lane Southern Orchards... I think Adam could retire and work there and enjoy every day being in peach heaven! He and Michael both share a big love for peaches.  Michael could eat his weight in peaches I think.

This is only half of the box of peaches Adam bought.

Another fresh peach ice cream shake.  Mmm good!  I think Ella could drink her weight in peach shakes.  That just might be her favorite part of our trip.  Kicking myself for not getting her picture with her peach shake.  She was just a bit (understatement) upset when it was all gone!

The Many Faces of Ella Grace

While on our way to Auburn, AL I looked back at Ella and she was making an adorable face.  So I quickly grabbed my camera to capture that adorableness, but she wasn't doing it any more.  BUT, within 5 seconds she made 5 more precious faces. :)

We met up with the Lindsey Family at one of the Auburn area's local restaurants, Cock of the Walk.  And a big bonus was Miss Mattie was there too!
The kids had fun feeding bread to the turtles and watching the peacocks.
It was good to be reunited with our friends!

We drove by to see the site for the Lindsey Family's new home! Exciting!

The Lake House

Then out to the lake house we went.  We were so blessed to be hosted by Mr. & Mrs. Lindsey (Mike's parents).  We had a most enjoyable time making precious memories!

Beautiful Lake Sunset

Michael became big buddies with Mr. Lindsey.  Melted my heart. It was good for him to get a "Grandpa" fix.  Michael misses his Grand-Daddy so much.

Sweet Friends
