Oklahoma Bound

Our sweet baby girl's due date was Monday, November 5.  The previous Thursday Margie had contractions all day, so we decided to pack up on Friday (November 2) and head north because we didn't want to miss a single second of her birth.  We spent Friday night with the Salzman family in Keller and arrived in Tulsa Saturday evening.  We stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriot and it became our home for the next two weeks. 

Every nook and cranny of our Expedition was PACKED! 

On Sunday we settled into our nest, including buying groceries and setting everything up for Ella's arrival.  Nan and Pop came to the hotel to visit and boy did we have one excited little boy ~ He loves his Nan and Pop!  Later in the evening Ethan and Margie joined the party (& Ella too) and we attempted the "spicy food theory"with dinner at Chuy's.

              Michael was already giving Ella kisses in Margie's belly.

On Monday we tried to find ways to pass the time as we waited on Ella to arrive...and boy oh boy did we pick a winner. Michael had a blast trying out all of the cars and trucks at Toys R Us. I do mean ALL of them, numerous times!

On Tuesday morning I went to Margie's appointment and heard Ella's sweet little heart beat!  At that point Margie was only dilated to 2cm and a C-section was scheduled for Sunday...
