September

We have had a busy start to the Fall Season.  Not only have we celebrated Michael's birthday and had a much needed family vacation, Michael also started "back to school" at FBCF's Children's Day Out program on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Fall also means Friday Night Lights with Friendswood Mustang Football.  Michael and Ella Grace attended their first high school football game.  They were fantastic and we made through the first half and half time!

One of the things early fall brings that is most unpleasant around here is Mosquitoes, thus our current welcome sign:

First Day of School teacher treats.

SouthFork Ranch

South Fork Ranch was a lot more interesting and actual fun than I expected.  It sure made me want to watch some old Dallas episodes! We were able to tour the ranch, the main house and the museum. Filming of the new Dallas TV show was going to begin in October at the ranch.

Lego Land

Another one of our excursions while staying in the DFW area was a trip to LEGOLAND...well, a mini LEGOLAND, but it was just our speed.  It is located inside Grapevine Mills Outlet Mall, so naturally the girls shopped while the boys played with Lego's!
