Here are highlights from our summer of fun:
Backyard Camping
(with Daddy teaching Survival Skills)
Ella wants to do everything Daddy and Brother do!
Snow Cones
Visits to Snow Beach were a regular summer occurrence.
Not on the Bucket List but worthy of documenting....Michael's first Big Boy Bicycle! He picked it out at Toys-R-Us and rode it through the store and out to the van!
It was a Princess loving summer for our Princess Ella Grace. She started with Cinderella and then each princess has received at least a month or two of her loyal attention. We went through Aerial (The Little Mermaid), Snow White, Rapunzel, Belle and Sleeping Beauty (her current favorite).
She loves to dress up and then look in the mirror....my Beautiful Girl!
VBS - Journey Off The Map
I headed up 2nd Grade again and I think this was my favorite VBS yet!
Michael and Ella's VBS teachers would send me pics of Music time when they were together...so sweet. I love how they love each other!
Screen Time
Much to Michael's dismay we implemented the Screen Time Checklist this summer. Michael treasures his screen time (I think it's a boy thing). He must accomplish these 4 tasks before screen time (Wii, iPad, computer, tv/movies) is allowed. It worked out well this summer and is still in place! Most of the time weekends and Holidays = Free Screen Time.

Noah's Ark Pool
City Scavenger Hunt
This was so much fun and a BIG HIT! We had a lot of rainy days this summer and this was perfect for something fun to do out of the house but not get in the yucky weather!

For the summer without Blue Bell this was a welcomed activity!
Kid's Creations
I had all the colors of the rainbow out for this painting time but my girly girl only wanted pink and purple and my boy only wanted blue!

I had no idea that pink was the color for the wedding - my babies matched!
The best part was getting to love on this guy - the one and only wonderful Uncle Sonny!!
