Ella Grace is due to be born around November 5...she will be here before we know it! We are anxiously awaiting her arrival and are busy transforming our guest room into Michael's big boy room and the nursery into all things GIRL! God is so graciously giving us the desires of our hearts through the beauty of adoption once again. He has blessed us with getting to know this sweet couple that loves her enough to make this brave and courageous decision for her benefit.
This young couple lives in Oklahoma. We were able to spend the day with them on Sunday, getting to know each other a little better before the big day of Ella's arrival. We had a fun day of breakfast at Cracker Barrel, exploring at the Science Museum, dinner at On the Border and a great time hanging out watching my Baylor Bears beat SMU in our hotel room. We love them and are in awe of how the Lord has been orchestrating this plan for years...God was working when we didn't even know it!
Please pray for the health and well being of Ella and her birth mom. I have no doubt that God has His hand on this precious child. Ella's birth parents are college students and have a full load of classes to maintain all while focusing on baby Ella. Much needed prayers for them that they can have the strength & endurance for their school work and for this emotional journey they are on. We love them and are claiming Jeremiah 29:11 not only for sweet baby Ella but for her birth parents as well..."For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
We are so excited....constantly smiling and thanking the Lord!
