Finalization!

Aside from the day Michael was born, Friday, March 25, 2011 is the second best day...he "officially" became ours! Of course in our hearts he has always been ours, but it is so good to have his adoption finalized. We went to the courthouse in Bryan for finalization since that is the court where our adoption agency finalizes.

After we were sworn in, our attorney began by asking Mommy questions.


Next, it was Daddy's turn to answer questions, followed by Don (from our adoption agency). Then, Don and Michael's attorney recommended the adoption of Michael.



Listening to Judge Smith. He granted the adoption and then told us that he was adopted when he was 5 days old. He said that we would be blessed as much as Michael. He told Michael, "You have no idea how lucky you are kid!"
