Happy Easter

Happy Easter ~ He is Risen, He is Risen indeed!! Hallelujah, what a Savior!!
We had a joyous, fun filled weekend for Michael's first Easter. Daddy was off on Friday and we went to the Bayou Wildlife Park with the Lindsey family. The only animal Michael showed an interest in was a cute little baby goat. On Saturday we went to the Moore's annual Easter Celebration and of course to church on Sunday.

Finally have a smile while he's sitting on the ground!

The Moore's had some cute little baby chicks and a baby duck attending their Easter Celebration and Michael got to pet a baby chick.

Suzy read and taught all the children about the true meaning of Easter using "The Parable of the Lily" and Resurrection Eggs.

Our handsome little man and his Easter basket from Mommy & Daddy.

Cutest little bunny ever!

"Baby's First Prayers" from his basket.

He loved his blocks.

I think he liked playing with the empty basket best!

Special Favorite

The Bedar Family gave Michael the SWEETEST BOOK EVER!!! It is titled God Found Us You. When I read it the first time I sobbed. The words are so perfect...hit home with this adoptive Mama. I highly recommend it if you are an adoptive family or you know one. I hope I am not breaking copyright laws by doing this, that is not my intention. I just want to share a few snip-its from this precious book. THANK YOU BEDARS!'

Adoption Celebration

Since Michael's adoption was final, we of course had a celebration...with 85 of our closest friends and family! Lots of fun! Thankfully, it was a gorgeous day outside and we have a big backyard. Michael was so happy and let everybody hold him and love on him. It was a very special day!

The cake was soooo yummy!

Sweet cousin Olivia ~ she and Michael are about 6 months apart. Lots of fun playing together in their future!

He finally crashed in the arms of sweet Liz.

Sadly, didn't get everyone's photo. I credit the majority of pics that I do have to my sis-in-law. After she left, it was up to me to take pics...I kind of dropped the ball. I realized it is super hard to host a party and take pics. Thanks Angela, I appreciate your photograpy skills!

I absolutely adore his outfit! He'll wear it again for his dedication on Mother's Day.
