4 Months!

Our baby boy turned 4 months old yesterday. He is the light of our life that is for sure! At his well check up today he weighed in at 15 lb. 8 oz. (63%), measured 26.25 inches long (88%) and his head circumference is 41 cm. (21%).
He is a super sleeper, 9-12 hours each night. He wakes up so happy each morning, smiling and talking in his sweet coos & babbles. His smile will melt your heart and it is impossible to have a bad day when you're around him. He rolled over for the first time last week and is enjoying his tummy time now. He LOVES to look at himself in the mirror. He pretty much burps himself these days. He enjoys his bath time and will kick his legs to splash the water, to which a smile, squeal or giggle quickly follows. He has lost a ton of hair and we are curious what it will be like when it grows back in. We are having fun finding different things that make him laugh. We are very thankful for our healthy and happy baby!

He finally noticed his monkey!

Aunt Deb, we love all of our bibs and use them all the time...drooling has kicked it big time!

Happy New Year!!

We had a fun New Year's Eve. We celebrated at our home with three other sweet families. We had tons of yummy food and played games (Wits-n-Wagers, Apples to Apples and Bible Scattegories) 'til 11:58 pm. We all shared a midnight toast and kissed our sweeties. A good time was had by all!

We snuck into Michael's room at midnight for a New Year 2011 picture...he only stayed up 'til 10pm.

First Christmas as Three!

BEST Christmas ever! We had so much fun with Michael's first Christmas and I know it will only get better in the next couple of years as he becomes more aware. We have always spent Christmas eve and Christmas day "just us," and this year was no exception. We went to the Christmas eve service at church and then drove around to look at Christmas lights. We had a fun Christmas day morning and on Sunday we drove to Huntsville to have Christmas with Adam's family and then on to my Dad's for my family's Christmas. Michael received tons of presents and had lots of fun family time and loving.

Michael was our BEST Christmas present!

What Michael saw on Christmas morning.

He really likes the exersaucer...that frog is so funny!

Too cute!

Michael's stocking

Sunglasses from his stocking...that is one cool baby!

Billy is happy to have a boy cousin! Michael really liked Billy's Santa hat.

Uncle Slavin gave Michael his first rifle for Christmas. Mommy was a little devastated and just about cried. I probably will cry when the day comes that he can actually use it! Daddy on the other hand was/is super excited! :)
